Purpose   The Budtender Lead is passionate about Marijuana, provides product knowledge to our patients, and explains the benefits of buying the product.  The Budtender Lead is also capable of displaying a positive attitude and amplifying the LivWell vision to all customers and co-workers. Budtender Leads will proactively contribute to LivWell’s commitment to operate under the highest standards of professionalism.   Essential Duties   - Execute LivWell selling standards to meet team and individual sales goals and metrics. - Model best-in-class service experience that consistently exceeds our customer’s expectations. - Inspire customer confidence and create loyalty to our brand. - Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures. - Accountable for accurately utilizing LivWell’s Point of Sale system. - Other duties as assigned by the Management Team may occasionally include: - Assist the training of new employees - Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.     Knowledge, Skills & Abilities   - Exceptional customer service skills. - Desire to learn about our products in order to assist customers. - Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management is a plus. - Fun attitude and strong work ethic. - Strong attention to detail and must have a team-player mentality. - Ability to creatively cultivate long- term customer relationships. - Ability to deal with problems and resolve in a professional manner. - Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts and store location movement.     Systems - Provide leadership and direction to departmental employees to ensure the effective use and management of systems.   Compliance and Reporting - Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.   Other Duties - Displays a positive attitude and amplifies LivWell’s vision to all customers and co-workers - Consistently contribute to store sales goals - Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration with co-workers - During downtime, works diligently to ensure the sales floor represents LivWell’s Brand Standards (i.e.: Bud room case displays and Faded merchandising are well stocked/maintained) - When necessary, goes above and beyond to assist in the stores overall successful operation   Supervision - Works under the general supervision of the Store Manager and Customer Experience Coordinator - This person does not supervise others.     Job Qualifications   Education - College Degree preferred but not required - 2-3 years retail experience preferred Proven success in the following job competencies: - Leadership - Results - Communication and Presentation - Customer Focus and Relationship Building - Influencing - Problem Solving and Decision Making - Information and Technology Proficiency   Working Conditions   - Able to use a computer for extended periods of time. - Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment - Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities. - Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally. - Regular and on-time attendance. - Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week. - Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.       Note: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with this job.

  Purpose The customer experience begins and ends with the budtender. A budtender is responsible for the initial greeting, assessing the needs of the customer and educating/guiding them on the benefits and differences of the products. Budtenders deliver the company’s retail promise to every customer and patient while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Purpose The Manager of Tissue Culture is responsible for overseeing all aspects of micropropagation at the Warren, MI grow location. This includes media preparation, initiating cultures, maintaining the mother block, transfers and multiplication, rooting, record keeping, and equipment maintenance. The Tissue Culture Manager will lead and supervise a team of technicians to accomplish these tasks. Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities   Workflow   - Prepare stock solutions and adequate quantities of tissue culture media and clone gel. Ensure adequate supplies of other materials for tissue culture protocols are prepared. - Work with the Research Scientist to optimize media requirements for different cultivars and stages of growth to ensure adequate multiplication rates are achieved. - Ensure media and other materials are autoclaved at correct cycles to achieve sterilization and that autoclaved materials are properly handled to maintain sterility. - Maintain strict cleanliness and organization of tissue culture laboratory and clone room spaces. - Enforce strict lab entry and exit protocols to prevent introduction of contamination. Keep doors closed when not in use. - Ensure culture vessels, test tubes, clone trays, and all other lab equipment is cleaned effectively by dishwasher and/or hand washing. - Perform/schedule and keep a log of necessary maintenance and servicing of laboratory - Follow strict sterile technique protocols when working in laminar flow hoods. - Perform meristem initiation from farm material as needed to create mother block cultures. Maintain mother block cultures by transferring to fresh media as directed. - Initiate multiplication groups from mother block cultures as needed. Transfer and propagate multiplication vessels as directed. - Track multiplication rates and ensure that technicians are achieving adequate multiplication. - Perform ex vitro rooting to fulfill production quotas.
